The long awaited debut album release from 9Lies has been set back!
Entitled 'Behind It All' (title track, as heard on the Johnny Hero show!) is presently in the final stages of mixing at 9Lies Studios Belfast along with 4 other songs from the album. Lead singer and cousin of Damien Rice, Steve Mann leaving the studio on Tuesday morning announced "We have hit on a few truly amazing sounds over this past month, and have basically thrown most of the album as it was, in the bin. Dont get me wrong, we love the songs and still play them live, but we want this album to capture this new period of the band as well, which is a lot more melodic and raw than before, so the album will be a half and half mix, its very exciting

INF Warrenpoint Co Down (2 More Nights)

If you haven't seen 9Lies at the INF before then we are quite sure that you heard about it! The band always goes down a storm at this venue, playing encore after encore until the management kick them out, well after time! That said, it hasn't stopped them giving 9Lies a brand spanking new residency there! as from the 25th November 2005, 9Lies will be organising band nights at the INF Warrenpoint,

The Global Battle of the Bands at O'Dowd's

This is the biggest contest in Music in the world and 9Lies are apart of it!

Originally 9Lies were meant to be playing their first heat in the Empire Belfast, but due to a clash of dates with the Battle of the Bands final at O'Dowd's, this has had to be changed to Thursday the 3rd of November at O'Dowd's Newry

Long Awaited Return to the Hoot Downpatrick

As promised, 9Lies will Be heading back down the yellow brick road to the Hoot Downpatrick.
